A very good queston! I can tell you that in several communities including my own, we're working hard to communicate to our concerns and feelings to our Presbyterian friends. I have to say that so far I've been pleasantly surprised by their openness to listen. I don't know that it will change their voting but one can hope!

Well, not exactly correct. Marranos (or Conversos) refers only to those who were forced to convert (or be expelled or killed) from Spain and Portugal. I'm not sure about Clarke, but Albright's heritage goes back to Eastern Europe so she's likely not a Marrano - which by the way had the connotation of 'filthy' or 'pig.'

Albright, like John Kerry and Gen. Wesley Clarke (spl?), suddenly found out they were Jewish after investigators discovered their Jewish ancestry. It seems that just because their mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters and grandparents were Jewish, didn't mean they were. The term is "Marranos". Marranos are "5th Column" Jews, who fake conversion, even going back centuries, in order to hide their Jewishness, but, secretly remain and practise Judaism.

How poignant yet brutally true of us in modern America today; both Jew and Gentile. Not only have we forgotten how to weep, but if we remembered we would not have time.
